Hi, I'm Iris and Thank you for visiting Iris Original Socks, I greatly appreciate it!
About me... I am a self-taught artist and Art is my passion. I have been painting for over 20+ years. Throughout the years, my creativity, style, and techniques have changed as I continue to grow with my life experiences.
My artwork is abstract, colorful, textured and full of motion. I utilize bright and vibrant colors to set the mood and apply different textures to add emphasis and depth, and I use motion to emphasize emotions.
My paintings are Original and I do not replicate nor make any prints of my work. It is one and done. So, throughout the years, I would always say (and still do, haha), "It's an Iris Original, It will be worth money one day!"
July 2014... The ball starts rolling!
After printing my artwork on fabric (Jan 2016), the local vendor says, 'hey, I print socks for another customer, and thought your print(s) would look cool on socks (shows me a sample) and I gasped! After jumping up and down with excitement, I asked, 'So, what else can you do?" and that's how Iris Original Socks was born!
